Iran’s exports are made in 5 main sectors of non-food and food products, which are: “Petrochemical and oil base and gas condensate”, “Industry”, “Agriculture and food industry”, “Mining and mineral industry” and “Carpet and handicraft. »Among the five main sectors, the agriculture and food industry is the only sector that has faced export growth compared to 2018, both in terms of weight and value. The largest decline in value was related to the petrochemical sector and oil and gas condensate, which have fallen in value by 20%. Although statistics show that value growth has occurred only in the group of agriculture and food industry, but in terms of weight, we have also seen growth in exports of handmade carpets and industry.
The highest weight growth belongs to handmade carpets and handicrafts, which have recorded 68%.
